Hanging Baskets

We describe our hanging baskets of flowers in imperial sizes. The quality of the flowers contained in each basket is exactly the same, regardless of size. It is only the size, weight and diameter of the basket that differs between the ranges.

Each purchase comes ready installed in the hanging basket. If you don't have your own hanging basket brackets then please be assured that we can supply and fit these for a very reasonable cost, and no fuss. Please see our services page for bracket and installation prices.

Troughs

We describe our troughs of flowers in imperial sizes, whether made in Plastic or Metal Wire. The quality of the flowers contained in each trough is exactly the same, regardless of size. It is only the size, weight and length of the trough that differs between the ranges.

The trough and installation is included in the price of the flower purchase. Depending on the location of the troughs, the only additional cost may be the purchasing of sets of trough brackets, which we can supply. This would of course be quoted in any price provided by us.

Pouches, Half Barrels and Tubs

Our pouches of flowers are fantastic at dressing doorways or large areas of blank walls, between windows. The image used to the right uses 3 pouches either side of the door.

Half Barrels look great at low level near to benches or below windows. Our 15 inch flower tubs can be placed in any open space. They also look great on top of low level walls to create an inviting open area.

  • Unique Flower Displays

    Each display is uniqe and we aim to create the most vibrant display to make your place stand out.

    You choose the display and we can tailor our designs to match your premises, or even your favourite colours. Get in touch with us now for a free no obligation quote.

    We only use top quality flowers which are grown from small plugs plants in our own poly tunnels. The flowers are long-lasting, and we expect them to last all season long. We can back this up with a customer guarantee that we will replace any flowering plants that don't last the season.

  • Automatic Watering System

    Although your plants will flourish with normal hand-watering twice a day this can become a task that gets forgotten when times are busy. We recommend that our customers install an automatic watering system to keep your flowers in tip-top condition all season.

    Water systems are a no-fuss, non-intrusive and permanent way to reach your plants all year round. They operate from a battery powered timer that turns the water supply on and off at the optimum time every day, even when you are on holiday.

    Our water systems are designed to last and are professionally installed to be discrete and maintenance free. Our Water Systems work because we insist on using a minimum size of 16mm supply pipe. This then distributes to smaller 5mm directional supply feeders for the individual plants. Our system ensures that every plant gets the required amount of water, in a way that other cheaper systems cannot guarantee.

    We can offer you a free quote at any point, either before or after we have displayed your flowers. Prices start at £350, which includes the battery powered automatic timer.

  • Watering System Service

    Through the passage of time, water system feeders can become dislodged or partially blocked, preventing your flowers from getting the full amount of watering that they deserve. We recommend that you schedule a Water System Service on an annual basis.

    The check will ensure that:

    • The timer is set correctly and functioning.

    • The battery has sufficient life.

    • Each feeders is distributing perfectly.

  • Brackets for Hanging Baskets and Troughs

    We may recommend new or replacement brackets when you order your first set of hanging baskets or troughs from Westcountry Baskets. We make the minimum of fuss about this service and simply provide exactly what is needed. We supply and fit all of our own brackets to the correct specification of the basket or trough ordered and guarantee our product and workmanship to be safe and appropriate for public display.
